Headline-Worthy! The Cheapest Countries To Visit
Granted! Not everybody can afford high-end destinations. Well, today is your lucky day. Below are 5 of the cheapest, but desireable, travel destinations.
Cambodia's Angkor Wat
The most expensive thing about a travel to Cambodia is the flight. After you get to this popular tourist destination, you will be surprised at how cheap things can be. Imagine getting a nice hostel for $4 per night? What about getting gourmet food for less than $3. Yes, it is that cheap. And there are a lot of things to do that are free. For example you can hike the mountains surrounding Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument.
Nepal National Parks
National Parks such as Chitwan and Sagarmatha National Parks in Nepal will ask you for an entry fee of less than $5. Amazingly, a night at a decent 4-star hotel in Kathmandu, the Nepalese capital city, will cost you about $7. Can it get cheaper than this? I doubt it.
Phuket in Thailand
With a budget of about $100, you can spend a whole day exploring the Phuket marvels. From sea caves to grottos to sunbathing, Thailand is one of the cheapest destinations in the world.
Antalya in Turkey
With beautiful Mediterranean beaches you would think that this Turkish Riviera destination is expensive. Well, you couldn't be further from the truth. The place costs just $100 per night. At that rate, you get to explore the ancient seaside towns of Turkey as well as sunbathe in the rich Mediterranean sun.
It is amazing how some of these destinations can be cheap. With a budget of $500, you can experience the best of Havana white sand beaches and stay for three days. Places such as Playa Ancon near Trinidad and Playas del Este near Havana's Riviera will welcome you and give you 5-star services at a third the cost you would get in other destinations.
For the budget travellers, you just need to think outside the box. Do not expect to have a budget travel destination in places such as Mexico, the Caribbean, California and Miami. Just venture out a little further and you may find that travelling is not as expensive as you have previously thought.
